Our Vision | Membership and Governance | Services

Membership

Full membership of Dairy UK is open to companies or individuals involved in the following activities:

  • Organisations based in the United Kingdom which process liquid milk or manufacture dairy products;
  • Sectoral trade associations which represent a distinct and substantial sector of dairy processing, manufacture or distribution;
  • A bottled milk buyer or other distributor of milk or dairy products who does not process liquid milk or manufacture dairy products;
  • An organisation or a trade association which is of a nature which could benefit the Association if they were to become a member.

Benefits of membership include:

  • The opportunity to become involved in and to influence industry policy making;
  • The opportunity to become involved in and to influence the industry’s highly effective lobbying and political representation activities;
  • Regular targeted communications on industry developments as they occur and copies of draft legislation;
  • Access to Dairy UK’s highly experienced head office and regional staff who can provide information and advice on an individual basis;
  • Business Support Helpline (click here)
  • Issues management;
  • A weekly electronic newsletter;
  • A monthly Members’ Report;
  • A copy of the monthly Milk Industry journal;
  • The opportunity to attend local and national meetings and working parties, as appropriate;
  • The opportunity to become involved in Dairy UK initiatives such as national School Milk Week, Milkman of the Year or Milk Heroes;
  • The opportunity to become involved in co-operative activities and research projects;
  • Access to training services and initiatives;
  • Access to the Roll Container Repatriation Scheme.
