Action Johne's Initiative: Phase II / Worcester

The Action Group on Johne's will launch Phase II of the Action Johne's Initiative at a special event in 2017.

JOHNESBuilding on the success of the 2015 conference, this event will look at progress to date, case studies, strategies for winning farmer engagement and activity in other countries.

The framework for Phase II will reflect the outcome of the consultation launched in August 2016.

The Action Johne's Initiative: Phase II conference will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2017 at the Sixways Stadium in Worcester.

IDF World Dairy Summit / Belfast

The UK dairy industry is bringing together the global dairy community at the 2017 International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit to look at how we can Make a Difference with Dairy.

Throughout the summit, we will examine the impact a vibrant, efficient and sustainable dairy industry, with nutrient rich and innovative dairy products, can have on the health of current and future generations, animal health and welfare, dairy science and technology, the environment and much more.

The summit will feature several high profile conferences, including the first IDF World Political Leaders Forum followed by an IDF World Dairy Leaders' Forum and eight conferences focusing on marketing; nutrition and health; dairy policy and economics; dairy science and technology; food safety; farm management; animal health and welfare; and the environment. The event will conclude with a series of technical tours showcasing the UK industry's state-of-the-art infrastructures.

The IDF World Dairy Summit will take place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from 29th October to 3rd November 2017.
