Dairy Energy Savings Ltd
(DES) is a company set up by Dairy UK to operate the dairy sector
Climate Change Agreement (CCA). This levy has added approximately 15 per cent
to a company’s energy bill per annum and milk processing companies can
save 80% of this tax by joining the DES scheme and agreeing to reduce their
relative energy consumption over time.

UK-IDF is the UK National Committee of the International Dairy Federation.
UK-IDF serves as the United Kingdom National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (IDF), as well as representing UK dairying interests at other international bodies. The Food Processing Knowledge
Transfer Network (KTN) is a dedicated resource set up by the DTI
